Dan is getting very good at smiling now.
Simon is still good at smiling. 
Simon is also getting good at speaking. He's getting the hang of using please and sometimes thank you. But what I'm most excited about is that he (sometimes) uses words to ask for things, although since he overgeneralises it's not always clear what he wants.
